Over 10,000 Submissions! Voting for Fuzhou’s “City of Gastronomy” Slogan Officially Begins
Recently, to support its bid for the title of “City of Gastronomy,” Fuzhou launched a global collection of slogans, receiving a warm response from numerous participants. The slogan collection has now concluded, with over 10,000 submissions received across various platforms.
After the organizer’s initial selection, 102 slogans were chosen for their clarity, harmonious structure, alignment with the theme, a strong reflection of Fuzhou’s rich history and culinary culture, and well-reasoned and thorough creative explanations. Now the public voting for Fuzhou’s “City of Gastronomy” slogan is open until December 7.

Voting Rules
I. Theme
The slogan for Fuzhou’s bid for the title of “City of Gastronomy”
II. Time Frame
From December 5 to December 7, 2024
III. Voting Limits
Each WeChat account can vote up to 10 times per day, with a maximum of 3 votes for the same entry each day.
IV. Awards
Adopted slogan: 1 winner, 10,000 yuan
Shortlisted slogans: 5 winners, 1,000 yuan each
After the voting process, the top three slogans with the highest votes will advance to the final selection for the “Adopted Slogan” and “Shortlisted Slogans.” The remaining three spots will be determined through expert review.
Submitted entries will be subject to public voting, with the results publicly announced for social oversight. The author of the adopted slogan will receive a prize of 10,000 yuan, while each shortlisted slogan will be awarded 1,000 yuan. The intellectual property rights to the winning slogans will be held by the organizer.
V. Statements
1. Submissions must comply with Chinese laws, regulations, and social norms.
2. The author will be responsible for any legal issues related to copyright, intellectual property disputes, or similar matters arising from the submitted entries. All entries must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. If any infringement is found, the submission will be disqualified, and any awarded prizes will be reclaimed. The applicant will bear all legal and civil liabilities resulting from such disputes.
3. Once a submission is shortlisted, the applicant is considered to have agreed that the organizer holds the intellectual property rights (including copyrights and trademark rights) to the submitted work. The organizer has the right to modify and publish the work, request the applicant to revise and improve the adopted work according to its requirements, and apply for trademark registration with the relevant administrative authorities.
4. There is no registration fee for this event, and submitted entries will not be returned.
5. The organizer holds the final interpretation rights for this event, as permitted by law.
