The event was attended by Hang Dong, Deputy Director of the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce; Liang Dong, Vice Mayor of the Fuzhou Municipal People’s Government; Su Bing, Mayor of the Yongtai County People’s Government; Lin Hanjun, Director of the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce; and Lin Kaihua, Executive Deputy Director of the Fuzhou Investment Promotion Office, among other officials.

Lin Hanjun, Director of the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce said in his speech that

General Secretary Xi Jinping has placed significant emphasis on the development of Fuzhou’s catering industry. During his time in Fuzhou, he outlined a visionary plan for the future of Fujian cuisine, providing strategic guidance for its development. The goal of the “One County, One Table of Dishes” initiative is to use food as a cultural bridge, connecting the specialties of Fuzhou’s different counties and districts. This will help shape a distinct and attractive Fuzhou food culture, broaden the reach of Fuzhou food, and elevate it as a globally recognized city brand.

The County Mayor Su Bing said in his speech that

The guests were fully immersed in the delightful culinary experience and cultural heritage presented by “The Flavors of Yongtai.”

After the launch ceremony, guests had the chance to taste the classic dishes of Yongtai’s “Three-Stage Banquet,” such as Fulu Quanjiafu, Songkou Sliced Cold Chicken, and Roast Rabbit with Chiximei Sauce. These dishes, with their authentic flavors, garnered unanimous praise from all the guests present.

According to reports, the event will run until February 6. During this period, Yongtai Guanjing Hotel, Smiler Hotspring Hotel, Minjiang Hotel, and Old Yongtai Restaurant will all offer “Three-Stage Banquet” sets. Locals can reserve discounted packages for 6-8 people or 10-12 people through the Meituan platform to enjoy the culinary feast.
