Currently, more than 50 mu of “Taixiantian No. 1” corn from Toubao Town, Lianjiang County, is available on the market.
According to the information, this variety of corn is known for its strong disease resistance, high sugar content, and superior quality. When cooked, it becomes soft, sticky, and sweet. It can also be eaten raw, like a fruit, offering a juicy, crisp sweetness that has made it a market favorite. The purchasing price is around 2 yuan per kilogram.
