The 2nd Fujian-Taiwan Pre-made Seafood Industry Development Seminar Held
On June 21, the 2nd Fujian-Taiwan Pre-made Seafood Industry Development Seminar was held at the School of Food and Biological Engineering, Fujian Polytechnic Normal University. At the seminar, participants engaged in discussions centered around the theme “Fujian-Taiwan Fresh Chain, Future of Pre-made Food.”
At the seminar, experts, scholars, and industry professionals from both sides of the Taiwan Strait discussed various aspects of the pre-made seafood industry, including technological innovation, product development, and market expansion. Professor Zhu Beiwei, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Dalian Polytechnic University, delivered a keynote speech titled “Leveraging Technology to Drive High-Quality Development of the Pre-made Seafood Industry.” She provided a detailed analysis of how technology can help improve standardization, enhance nutrition, and preserve flavor within the industry. Professor Zhu also emphasized the vital role of smart manufacturing in boosting industry efficiency and highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration for driving innovation.
The seminar focused on the forefront of the industry, bringing together experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to explore innovative approaches to the pre-made seafood sector.
