Mawei Shapes a New Supply Chain Landscape for Seafood Products

On June 28, the Mawei District Government hosted the “Ecological Chain Empowering the Future · Collaborative Growth and Win-Win Cooperation — Seafood Ecological Chain Investment Promotion and Tongcheng Quanquan Urban Ecological Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony.”

At the event, Luoxing Sub-district, Mawei Town, Tingjiang Town, and Langqi Town signed investment promotion agreements with Tongcheng Quanquan (Fuzhou) Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tongcheng Quanquan”), Xiamen Zhenyouliao Food Co., Ltd., Fujian Haishan Brothers International Trade Co., Ltd., and Fujian Nanmei Chengye Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd. In addition, Fuzhou Rural Commercial Bank and Tongcheng Quanquan signed a “1-Billion Pre-Approved Credit Plan to Support the Upgrading of Supply Chain Finance.” Tongcheng Quanquan reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Fujian Catering and Cooking Industry Association, the Fujian Provincial Famous Chefs Professional Committee, the Fuzhou Catering and Cooking Industry Association, the Fuzhou Famous Chefs Committee, and the Fujian Cuisine Culture Research Center. In addition, Mingcheng Aquatic Products and Tongcheng Quanquan signed an agreement for data connectivity in cold chain logistics, aiming to jointly develop an integrated solution combining “Cold Chain Logistics + Smart Supply Chain.”

A relevant responsible person from the Mawei District Bureau of Commerce stated that Mingcheng Aquatic Products, in partnership with Tongcheng Quanquan, is driving digital centralized procurement, which is a vivid practice of Mawei’s efforts to deeply integrate “traditional industries and digital momentum.” This initiative will reshape the supply chain landscape for seafood products in Mawei, expand sourcing channels for seafood products, create a local seafood market, and help the catering industry reduce costs and improve efficiency through centralized procurement, ultimately stimulating regional consumption potential.

“By leveraging smart centralized procurement and supply chain optimization, Tongcheng Quanquan can help Fuzhou’s catering businesses cut procurement costs by 10% to 20%. We’ve pioneered a ‘Three-Party Synergy’ model that facilitates direct premium sales from fishermen, helps hotels reduce costs while expanding the customer base, and offers the public affordable access to fresh seafood,” said Chen Yunhui, founder of Tongcheng Quanquan.
