Trade Union Facilitates Cooperation Between Renowned Fuzhou and Taiwan Snack Brands Fuzhou to Open Cross-Strait Joint Model Store

On March 29, the “Cross-Strait Shared Heritage, Culinary Fusion – Fuzhou and Taiwan Snack Brand Cooperation Matchmaking Conference” was held at the Cross-Strait Workers’ (Fuzhou) Reception Center. At the event, several well-known snack brands from Fuzhou and Taiwan reached agreements on brand cooperation through methods like technology licensing and co-brand development. They plan to open a joint store in Fuzhou as a model of cross-strait fusion, with future plans to introduce Fuzhou snacks into Taiwan’s night markets and chain restaurants.

Zheng Bingchun, General Manager of Fuzhou Shanggan Catering Management Co., Ltd., told the reporter that through standardized production in a central kitchen, the establishment of a cold chain logistics system, and digital marketing, Shanggan Noodles has opened more than 50 direct-operated and franchise stores. “We plan to take the Taiwanese market as a pilot to explore the ‘time-honored brand + new retail’ model, bringing authentic Fuzhou flavors to Taiwan,” said Tao Jingzhao, founder of EO Healthy Eating. His presentation on the healthy eating concept resonated with a Taiwanese entrepreneur, who expressed her support for the project. She offered to connect with local fruit and vegetable farms to help establish the supply chain if the project is launched in Taiwan.

The event was held by the Cross-Strait (Fuzhou) Staff Innovation and Entrepreneurship Creation Center, under the guidance of the Fuzhou Federation of Trade Unions and the Taiwan Affairs Office in Fuzhou. (Fuzhou Daily Reporter: Li Bailei)
